San Antonio goes ‘green’ this Saturday and Sunday for the Murphy’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival. Free to the public, this family-friendly event features live music, food, and floats along the San Antonio River.
The floats will release 110 pounds of green dye into the River putting it in the spirit of the Irish holiday. For a few hours, the River adopts the name of “The River Shannon” in honor of the Emerald Isle.
The dyeing of the river takes place Sunday, March 16 at 3:00 p.m.
Enjoy live music on Arneson Stage, and a festival of food, games, activities and more in La Villita from 12pm-6pm on Saturday and Sunday!
